October 23, 2019 – Congratulations to Bruce W. Megard, Erin C. Seeberger and the rest of the BB&L team for a defense verdict in favor of their client, a defendant health organization. The case centered on allegations that a surgeon negligently performed a hiatal hernia repair and Nissen fundoplication surgery, as well as a revision procedure, leading to severe and permanent injuries. After nearly three weeks in trial, the jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of defendant. (King County Superior Court, Case No. 17-2-11862-1 SEA)
